I purchased this item because I loved the beauty and shape of the *tame-nuri* lacquerware, intending to use it. (It's a good quality item, though it has aged. The box has scratches and some dirt from aging.) I have kept it carefully, never having used it. I am listing it for sale because I will not have the opportunity to use it in the future. Although it is unused, I have opened it for ventilation and wiped it with a dry cloth for maintenance. There are no noticeable scratches, but as I am not a professional, I may have overlooked something. Please comment before purchasing if you are concerned. I will add more photos.
