Shichihou temari are a type of hanging ornament, traditionally made as good luck charms for celebrations like birthdays and to bring good fortune. With a diameter of about 10cm, they are quite large and have a strong presence. They can brighten up any space, whether Japanese or Western-style, just by hanging them up. The hanging string is made long, so please tie it at your desired length. They are imbued with meanings such as harmony, peace, prosperity of descendants, and the circle of human connection. These temari are authentic, using metal fittings and wooden beads. Each stitch is carefully sewn with the "han-gaeshi-nui" (back stitch) technique.
