Vintage 80's, extremely rare MADE IN USA blue embroidered tag Champion Reverse Weave, golden size L, with the eye logo. Made of 95% cotton, the fabric is tightly woven, providing a sturdy feel when worn. The blue embroidered tag is often seen on T-shirts, but those with "IT TAKES A LITTLE TO MAKE A CHAMPION TM RN 26094" printed on the back of the tag were only produced for a limited two-year period from 1983 to 1985. While this can be occasionally found on sweatshirts that are not Reverse Weave, it's truly rare to find a Reverse Weave with a blue embroidered tag. Vintage sweatshirts are gaining attention and prices are soaring with the release of special feature books and Champion's 100th-anniversary special. The number of Reverse Weaves is steadily decreasing year by year, and blue embroidered tags are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
