This is for the bridge pickup of the aguilar AG 4J-HC. I purchased it two months ago to try out a few pickups and installed it only once. It is almost unused. The lead wire has not been cut. This is just my personal opinion, but first of all, the noise is not noticeable at all. The sound quality has a wide range and a calm tone. The output is also fine, so I think it would be easy to use for PJ setups as well.
