For Thinkpad collectors. This is a special machine that originally ran on a 1.8-inch HDD. It has been modified to use a 32GB CF card as an SSD via an ATA-CF bridge, and Debian 12 32-bit is installed. The adapter is IBM-made, but it might be different from the X40's... it works though. Pentium M 1.2 GHz / SSD 32GB (CF Card) / RAM 1.28GB. A PCMCIA Wi-Fi card (5G) is also included. The CMOS battery is dead, so the date will reset when the adapter is unplugged. Please set the date in the BIOS after it arrives before booting. The login username and password will be included with the shipment. Recommended for enthusiasts.
