This is a red raku tea bowl made by Shoraku Sasaki of Kyoto. The craftsmanship itself is said to be well-made, but there are cracks around the rim, as shown in the 4th and 5th photos. They don't go all the way down, so it was mentioned that it might be usable at home. However, it was also noted that red raku is prone to cracking, so caution is advised.
