This is a 13-string koto. It's a mid-range instrument with a standard soundboard, sudare carving, leaf-shaped edging, and a dragon head with maki-e lacquer on the tongue. There are a few small marks, 2-3 in total, on the soundboard where the koto bridges have fallen over. They do not interfere with setting up the bridges. There are no cracks or scratches on the back or underside of the koto. The main body of the koto is made of paulownia wood, which has aged well, producing a beautiful tone and resonance characteristic of a koto. Sound check performed. Koto bridges and either a cat's foot or a koto stand will be included. Please let me know your preference. The plectrums show signs of use but are included.
