Found this while organizing my parents' home. I believe I purchased this over 30 years ago at an Arita ware pottery fair. It was stored in its wooden box. The lid of the wooden box has "Arita ware, Made by Matsunaga" written on it. At first glance, it looks beautiful, but one of the three tiers appears to have scratches on the bottom, about 3 of them, which I believe were there from the beginning. Another tier has what looks like white paint on the inside in two places. It might be difficult to discern clearly in the photos, but please check photos 10 and 11. Please consider this as a used item with a slight defect, and understand this before making a purchase.
