I have created a kimono set, combining a haori (jacket) and kimono. I've paired a kimono with an auspicious crane pattern in a pale cream yellow with a glossy black chirimen (crepe) haori featuring a small cherry blossom pattern. I think it has a touch of cuteness with the small cherry blossoms in red and pink, even though it's chic. The obi (sash) knot looks like a butterfly. I've carefully considered combining patterned fabrics and contrasting colors to create a nostalgic feel! The kimono fastens with strings, and the obi fastens with snaps, making them easy to put on and take off. I used a sewing machine, glue, fray check, and double-sided fabric tape, and there are also hand-sewn parts.
