This is a US military 1978 snow camouflage parka. It's an overlayer meant to be worn over items like the M-65, so although it's labeled as a Medium, it fits like a Large to Extra Large. It's usually designed without hand pockets, with pass-through openings to access the pockets of the jacket worn underneath. However, this one has pockets added later.
