This is a Belgian Army M64 field jacket. I purchased it as deadstock about two years ago. The front closes with buttons and Velcro. However, when worn open, the Velcro on the left and right sides would stick together while walking, making it very difficult to wear. Therefore, I removed the male side of the Velcro (the right side when viewed from the front) using a seam ripper (the removed piece is not available). This made it much easier to wear, but please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern. There are some areas where the Velcro is loosely sewn and minor fraying, but the frequency of use was low, so the fabric still retains its luster, and overall, it maintains almost the same condition as when purchased.
