I purchased them for display purposes and have not used them for practical purposes. I think they can be used as small containers, potpourri pots, for holding fake greenery or dried flowers, or as pots for air plants and other plants that require little watering. This is a set of blue-toned items. All the bowls are believed to be from the 1950s, made by Lunéville-Badonviller. They have a "3" stamp, but no backstamp.
