It was made by combining the very popular William Morris "Anemone" fabric from V&A with the classic navy "Mouche" fabric from Souleiado. This is a panel variation of a dress I made in the spring. ◆ Design Since Nukutepā dresses are made of Indian cotton, they are a bit thin for spring and autumn, so I made this one with sheeting material. The sleeves are puff sleeves. The elegant "Anemone" print is a popular pattern in various colors from Moda fabrics, but this one is the most popular color with a bright color scheme based on navy, unique to V&A. The Souleiado fabric on the chest is a traditional print, and while I created a panel with a bright fabric last time, I made this one with the classic navy Souleiado pattern for autumn. The panel section I made last time has a more distinct contrast in color compared to the white dress. Although the skirt part doesn't have as much volume as a Nukutepā dress, it turned out better than I expected, and I was encouraged by friends and acquaintances to list it. Similar to Nukutepā dresses, the front and back bodice have a cotton lawn lining. Because it has good moisture absorption, I have attached cotton lawn fabric, so it doesn't have the smooth feel of synthetic materials. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the sewing, as it was made with a home sewing machine, not an industrial sewing machine.
