I purchased this item about three years ago in its current condition. I believe the seller at the time said they had opened it but never used it, though I'm not entirely sure. I have never used it either, and it has been stored in my garage. A friend bought a Harley and was excited to go camping and touring, but they never had the opportunity or plans, so they are selling it. It was stored in a container in the garage, so I don't think there's any degradation from UV light, but it has been handled by others, so please don't have excessive expectations. There is no box.
