This is a self-made extension leader for tenbin (balance) style hairtail fishing rigs. In Tokyo Bay, 2.5m rigs have become the mainstream in recent years. However, commercially available rigs are often 1.8m to 2.0m, with only a few being 2.5m long. I believe the rigs provided by fishing boats and those sold on board are similar. I made this leader to extend my existing rigs when 2.5m rigs become necessary as we head into winter. Two sets of: 7-gauge nylon, 50cm long One end has a snap, the other a swivel. Connect the leader to the tenbin, and then connect the rig below it. Ships via Yu-Yu Mercari.
