Pottery fired at the ancient kiln site of Sukhothai in Thailand after the 14th century was imported to Japan from the Momoyama period to the early Edo period, and was called Songkhalok. Tea masters at the time considered it as tea utensils and treasured it. This item has a渋い (shibu, meaning refined/tasteful) black glaze☆ It's a small jar that would look great with a single flower☆ Can be used as a tea utensil, vase, or flower container☆ ■Size (approx.) Diameter 3.5cm Height 4cm ■Condition (as an antique) Good ◯ *Fossilized stone attached to the bottom Believed to be an excavated item☆ Soil is inside, but it is valuable, so it will be delivered as is☆ This item is an item released by a collector who runs an antique shop☆ It is a collection of antique items purchased overseas (mainly Asia) over 50 years ago and collected.
