Leica Summarit 50mm f1.5 Leica screw mount This is a 5-group, 7-element double-Gauss lens manufactured from 1949 to 1960. It boasted outstanding brightness for its time, and is characterized by soft, gentle rendering with a slight bloom at its widest aperture, becoming sharper when stopped down. The lens exterior is in quite beautiful condition as shown in the photos. However, the focus ring's torque feels stiff, possibly due to grease degradation.
