This is a logo-printed tailpiece (painted) that was attached to a domestically-made Chaki contrabass from the 1970s. It's very rare to find a Chaki tailpiece with the printed logo still intact, making it a highly sought-after and valuable vintage item. The original mounting hardware (wire?) from that time is also included. The tailpiece is black, but the material is not ebony; it's painted black, and the type of wood is unknown. While there are some scratches and paint chips, it's in good condition and doesn't look like it's over 50 years old. It's in good enough condition to be used, but it would also be enjoyable as a vintage interior decoration. Please understand that this is an old vintage item.
