The album was produced by Chris "Wizz" Green and Steve Morris of HEARTLAND, who can be considered the last bastion of the UK melodic hard rock scene. Furthermore, the backing musicians include Kenny Kayos of The Distance, Chris's side project, and others. The jacket design also contributes to the overall image, and the sound of this album is as expected. Chris "Wizz" Green's influence is quite strong, as he actively participated in the songwriting and backing vocals, but the band's sound, driven by 80s-style keyboards, gives a rather pop-oriented impression. Overall, it has a solid structure, as if the senior figures of the UK melodic scene after the 90s were carefully nurturing a promising band. However, there's also a sense that vocalist and songwriter Alan Clark's love for BON JOVI is evident throughout. His melancholic, husky voice doesn't have as much presence as Chris's, but it's perfect for this kind of sound. He doesn't try to pull it in a bluesy direction, and his love for melodic hard rock, which doesn't hide its influences from American progressive hard rock, is also appealing.
