Thank you for viewing. This is a Fender USA Jazz Bass, either a '75 or '76 model. I purchased it used about 10 years ago, and I'm selling it to organize my equipment. It's believed to be from 1975 or 1976 based on the micro-tilt adjustment with a 3-bolt joint, the CBS logo with a patent number, and the pickup date. However, the exact year cannot be determined because there is no serial number on the neck or the joint plate. Many parts have been replaced: * 4th string peg post * Nut * 3 potentiometers * Jack * Capacitor * Wiring * Screws * Pickup cushions Likely replaced parts: * Bridge * Pickguard * Finger rest There is a crack in the fingerboard at the 1st fret, which is common for 70s Jazz Basses, but it hasn't changed at all since I purchased it, so I believe the condition is stable. Currently, the neck has 45-105 gauge strings and has a slight forward bow, and the truss rod works in both directions. The string height is 2.5mm for the 4th string and 2.0mm for the 1st string, and there is no buzzing or dead spots in any position. The frets have been leveled by the previous owner and still have plenty of life left. There is some scratchiness in each knob. The body has scratches and dents appropriate for its age. It will be shipped in the original hard case and then in a cardboard box.
