Here's how to use scrap glass from cut glass. I created a dedicated page because there was a request. This time, I had some scrap glass that had already been sold, so I'd like to use that. For thick cut glass scraps, I'll lightly use a router on them as they are, and then tape them, creating a frosted glass effect. Thin scraps can be cut and shaped just like regular glass. The contents of the scrap glass will vary depending on the time, but if you want to make a panel like in images 3, 4, and 5, arrange them on a backing board according to your own image. White parts will use other glass. Once the image is decided, I'll finish with a router. There are various designs to consider, so it's fun. After that, I'll trace the shape with a pen like a regular panel and make a template for the white parts. Images 6 to 10 are for making lamps. Here too, I'll place the scrap glass on the lamp backing board according to the image. The process is the same as for panels. Also, I think you can cut the cuttable scraps into small pieces and use them in various ways. The first and last images are reference works using scraps. I think you can create original and interesting works even with scraps, so please use them.
