A very lovely antique doily. A charming antique French floral fabric decorated with unused (French or Belgian) bobbin lace, creating a delicate and lovely square doily. The base color is a pale pistachio green. Featuring plump French roses blooming in clusters, carnations, chrysanthemums, and cute petunia-like flowers. The deep rose red outlines accentuate the coral pink. Shades of red and pink, with chic shadows of sophisticated gray. Delicate pale blue small flowers swaying in the breeze. Vermilion berries, small lily-of-the-valley-like flowers. As if petals are scattered. Soft, moist, and smooth cotton. The delicate bobbin lace, as if woven in Bruges, Belgium, is made of fine, silky natural linen thread, in a lustrous and glossy off-white or ecru. It gives a fresh and elegant impression. After being finely stitched on the surface, it is carefully protected on the back with small stitches like gathering stitches.
