(＠＾＾＠) This is a TV anime based on the short film "She and Her Cat" released in 1999 by Makoto Shinkai, the animation director known for "The Garden of Words" and "5 Centimeters Per Second." It depicts the daily life of a woman and the cat that watches over her. A "complete version" that combines all four episodes broadcast on TOKYO MX's "Ultra Super Anime Time" in March 2016 with new cuts was screened for a limited one-week run at Shimokitazawa T-Triwood in Tokyo, which had previously screened the original anime, to commemorate the release of the Blu-ray & DVD in May 2016.
