I was using this as a sub-reel, but I'm selling it to organize my gear. Regarding the smoothness, it's hard to say definitively as everyone's perception differs, but I don't feel any significant roughness. There are scratches on the spool (image 3) and the bottom (image 4). It comes with a Gomexus handle knob (size unknown, 41mm?) and the original knob and tools. The line is PE 1.5, 150m or 200m, which I spooled last summer, but consider it a bonus. There is no box or instruction manual.
