Hello, I am Akai Ninjin (Red Carrot). To all our valued customers, We are writing to inform you that we will be increasing our prices by 50 yen per item. This is due to the rising costs of all our raw materials (reeds, rattan, hat wood, gas cylinders, and blueprints). We have made this difficult decision after careful consideration. We appreciate your understanding regarding this price increase, as we have been selling at the previous price until now. We hope for your continued patronage. In relation to Gagaku (Japanese court music), we are offering Hichiriki reeds, Hichiriki paulownia boxes with lacquer finish, Hichiriki tubes with lacquer finish (for storing reeds with the instrument), and Ryuteki tubes with lacquer finish. All items are handmade by my father-in-law, so please allow some time for production. We come from a Gagaku family. My siblings and I play the Hichiriki, Sho, Koto, and Kakko. I, by chance, practice the Ryuteki. My siblings and I sometimes perform together at funerals. I am selling these items on behalf of my father-in-law, who makes them by hand. Thank you for your interest. ● About the Products ● Basically, since these are handmade by my father-in-law, we inspect them before shipping. However, in the unlikely event of a defective item, please contact us before leaving a review. Also, regarding the sale of reeds, we sometimes have "B-grade" reeds (those with minor cosmetic imperfections but still playable) from the production process. We may include one as a service with your order, if available. ● About Shipping ● Items shipped via standard mail will be sent directly from the post office. Please note that orders placed on holidays or the days before weekends may be delayed accordingly. We also plan to list other unwanted items in the future.
