This is a Hida Shunkei lacquerware confectionery container. I believe it's meant for sweets, but it would also be stylish for holding small items. It's a new, unused item, but it has been stored at home, so the outer box is quite deteriorated. There are no stains or scratches on the main body, but please check the photos.
