We will now be selling various handmade stuffed animal creations by the late Sachiko Tanaka, a Kyoto artist. All items are commissioned by the artist's family. These are from the highly-regarded "Miniature Vegetable Garden" series, and you'll be amazed by their delicate and intricate craftsmanship. These works were exhibited in solo exhibitions for a while and were then carefully preserved by her family. While these items are about 30 years old and not brand new as you would buy in a store, they have a warm, comforting feel. You'll find them to be wonderful, soulful pieces that you can display and enjoy without ever getting tired of them. The artist selected the fabrics one by one, dyed them, and meticulously drew the intricate lines, resulting in these works of art that took an incredibly long time to create. Being from Kyoto, the creations include vegetables unique to Kyoto. The price may be a bit high, but we are confident that you will not regret purchasing these high-quality items.
