Using the vibrant dyeing and brocade (sometsuke nishiki) technique, luxurious peony flowers, symbols of wealth and good fortune, are depicted. It can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as salads, donburi bowls, and single servings of noodles. The inside of the vessel features a ground pattern (translucent carving) that appears depending on the light, enhancing the sense of luxury. ※ Slight discoloration on the foot ring is due to aging.
