I use it on sofas, carpets, cat towers, and futons. I used to use something like a sticky roller, but this one has a long handle, so it's easy to clean a wide area. It's made overseas, so the included brushes are a bit flimsy, but even without using them, the hair clumps together and is easy to remove, so I'm satisfied. The small black brush that comes with it doesn't fit snugly and feels a little loose. Most of them are like that. I don't use the small brush, so I ignore it.
