The surface of the belt is enamel and has a glossy finish, while the back is not glossy. Unfortunately, the battery died during storage. I don't think there are any scratches on the glass surface. Please see the third photo. There are small scratches on the left and right sides of the area where the light is hitting. If you look closely with the light on, there may be other small scratches as well. Personally, I don't feel there are any very noticeable large scratches, but everyone's perception is different, and it's a used item, so please understand that it's not as pristine as when it was new.
