【Overview】 This unit is a Pioneer CDJ-800mk2, one of the club's standard machines. Compared to typical used items, this unit has been cleaned and had parts replaced for preventative maintenance. 【Why We Recommend This】 This is a standard piece of equipment that's expected to be in a booth. In venues with a high percentage of Pioneer equipment, getting used to this CDJ will allow you to DJ without any problems even on the latest CDJs. After maintenance, I mixed for about an hour using CD-Rs. I was able to use it comfortably without any problems. The touch-sensitive Vinyl mode (actually, a slight push) is also convenient. While not many people use this equipment for serious scratching, Pioneer's time stretch sounds good, so you can confidently produce scratch sounds. The touch-sensitive parts of the CDJ-800mk2 often wear out, but this unit is almost as good as new. CD-R/RW discs can also be played (although they may not play correctly depending on the disc characteristics, scratches, etc.). The CD read error rate has been measured and is within acceptable limits (some used CDJs may still function, but be deemed NG, and those CDJs are nearing the end of their lifespan). MP3 files can also be played. 【Maintenance】 *Mostly for preventative maintenance. ・Replaced 7 frequently used panel buttons with new ones (Play, Cue, Track Search +-, Fast Forward/Rewind, Loop) ・Removed and cleaned the keytops of all switches ・Cleaned the interior and exterior ・Greased ・Latest firmware (improved CD reading accuracy, improved time stretch sound quality, etc.) ・CD read error rate measured (OK even with considerably scratched CD-Rs) ・Replaced the PLAY/STOP and CUE escutcheons (from a CDJ-800; can be used without problems because of the same shape) 【Appearance】 There are scratches on the main unit.
