This is a BO-50. It's a through-neck, multi-layer neck P-bass. Apparently, it's an early 1980s model. I bought it used this year, and it was very dirty, so I disassembled it and polished the body and cleaned the metal parts. It has a natural finish, so it's hard to see, but there are many cracks and large scratches in the clear coat of the body. It has been replaced with EMG GZR-P pickups and the included circuit. The original circuit and pickups are included. The original hard case is included. The hard case has some mysterious paint? Sticker tuning? on it, so the condition isn't great. Here's my personal assessment of the condition. Since I'm an amateur, I cannot accept returns or complaints regarding the condition. It's set up at about 2.3mm-1.7mm. The truss rod is stiff, but it seems like it can still move a bit in the tightening direction. There's a high-fret buzz, and the sound above the 12th fret is a bit questionable. The lower frets sound fine. The frets are low, so a refret might be the limit. Refretting would probably fix it. There's a slight headstock dive feel. The weight is probably around 4.3kg. The sound is a bit clear, modern, and powerful P-bass sound because of the GZR-P pickups. I like it and was thinking of refretting it to make it a main instrument, but I have too many instruments, so I'm letting it go. Recommended for those who like Japanese vintage, those who like the look, and those who want a slightly unusual P-bass! Shipping will be on the weekend.
