Mother-of-pearl is used as a highlight on the otaiko (back design) and the front pattern, creating a beautiful color depending on the viewing angle. Suitable for formal occasions such as coming-of-age ceremonies and weddings when paired with furisode (long-sleeved kimono), or for various ceremonies and celebrations such as weddings, entrance ceremonies, and parties when paired with iro-tomesode (colored formal kimono), homongi (visiting kimono), tsukesage (semi-formal kimono), or iro-muji (colored kimono without pattern). Yamato's new Hajiku (guard processing) has been applied. It is in beautiful condition without any noticeable stains or dirt, but I would like to sell it to someone who understands that it is a used item that has been stored at home.
