I previously purchased this and used it for a while as a smartphone case attached to my pants. I checked with the iPhones I have. An iPhone X with a case and an iPhone 15 Pro without a case fit just barely, while an iPhone 15 Pro with a case would be difficult. Just for reference, depending on the thickness of the case. There's also space for other small items.
