This is a set of 5 small plates, or "mamezara" (bean dishes)! Please understand that any blurring of the patterns or what appear to be scratches on the plates are due to the original product characteristics. Each plate has a unique appearance (^^) When I held them, I was surprised at how heavy they felt for their small size! These were passed down to me from my grandfather, who loves tableware, and I am not familiar with them, so I do not know the kiln or the name of the artist (^.^; I think they are in good condition with no noticeable scratches or stains.
