It has a string tied a few centimeters from the opening. You can adjust the length to some extent by changing the folding position. Depending on the person, if you prefer to untie the string or pull out the top fold to take out the flute, I recommend Type A if it's in stock and the size of your Shinobue fits. I've folded it for the photos, so please refer to the pattern on the front in the second photo, which is the inside-out view. For approximately 16mm diameter Shinobue, holds 2-3 flutes. It might fit 3 if you arrange them in a pyramid shape. It might be good for holding something about 49cm long when folded in half. Length: Approximately 58cm (unfolded) Width: Approximately 7cm It's the type that ties with the two strings sewn on the side as shown in the photo. I can't play the flute at all, so I don't know what key/length it's for. I make them based on the lengths my hayashi (musical ensemble) friends use.
