We have remade a used obi (sash) into a tote bag.
This is a remake from a beautiful silver obi with large floral patterns. The butterflies casually perched on the floral patterns are cute, and the silver threads shine beautifully.
The lining uses the back of the obi, and it has a magnetic button and a pocket.
The handles are made from silver obi cords.
The bottom has a core sewn in, so it is sturdy and prevents it from losing its shape, allowing it to stand on its own.
