For sale to organize equipment. I will quote and include the text from when I purchased it for reference. I am not knowledgeable, so there are some things I don't understand. The photos show a hard case, but it is not included in the purchase, so please be aware of that. This is a TOKAI MADE '78-'79 real Japan vintage, Ishi-logo era, Fernandes Burny FLG-60BK for sale. Vintage Ishi-logo era Burny FLGs, especially those made by Tokai, are rare, and I think this is very unusual. As is well known, and you may already know, Fernandes commissioned Tokai Gakki to OEM manufacture Les Paul type FLG-60s during the Ishi-logo era. Tokai-made features include printed wiring and a diagonal wiring method for the pickup cavity. Also, while FLG-70 and higher models have the volume knob positioned almost directly beside the tailpiece, Tokai-made models have the volume knob positioned slightly lower, just like the original vintage guitars. Furthermore, this OEM model has fret edge binding, which is a specification of LS-90 or higher in Tokai guitars, so it has the specifications of a TOKAI Les Paul Reborn era LS-60 or higher model from this period. The tuners are the standard Tokai 2-knob Kluson type. The weight of this guitar is about 4.7 kg. I haven't actually weighed it myself, but it feels quite heavy. The neck is almost straight, and the frets appear to have little wear. The action is set low, so there may be some buzzing. Please adjust it to your preference. It was manufactured around 1978-79, so it has been 47-48 years, but there are some minor scratches and small dents, but overall, it is in very clean condition. Tokai guitars from this period are quite expensive, so although the logo is not TOKAI, the build seems to be Tokai-made. How about it? As I am an amateur seller, there may be some things that are not fully explained. If you have any questions, please be sure to ask. By purchasing, you agree to all the above. Thank you.
