It's an unconstructed jacket that can be worn lightly, making it useful for both business and casual occasions. The specifications include real buttonholes on the sleeves, side vents, and a half-lined back. The sleeves are attached with the Italian "manica camicia" technique. By eliminating shoulder pads and padding and attaching the sleeves like a shirt, the range of motion in the shoulders is expanded, creating a comfortable fit. The material is a thick, brushed fabric with a tweed-like texture from the high-end fabric maker Loro Piana. Although it's half-lined, it's warm enough that you won't need a coat if you wear it over a knit. I've worn it a few times a year, and in my subjective opinion, it's in good condition.
