One tray shows some signs of use (images 16 and 17), while the other appears unused. The original box has some stains. Please understand. <Tomonori Guto> Born in 1905, died in 2001. Born in Kaga City (formerly Yamanaka Town, Enuma District). Real name: Kyozaemon. Studied under his grandfather and his father, the first Tomonori. First selected for the 3rd Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 1956, and received the Japan Craft Association Chairman's Award in 1968, he was a leading figure in the Yamanaka lacquer art world. The powerful technique of line engraving was created by the artist.
