This is a bonbonniere from Ryokujuan Shimizu, a famous and long-established konpeito (sugar candy) shop in Kyoto. It is a shop that is patronized by the Imperial Family. Konpeito is not included. This is an offering of the ceramic container only. It has not been reused. It has been carefully stored. The colors are vivid and beautiful all the way to the edge.
