This is a shibori yukata featuring a slightly greenish blue color reminiscent of a storeroom, with a lovely floral arabesque pattern. The arabesque pattern, with flowers extending their vines, symbolizes "prosperity" and "longevity" because it continues without end, and has been cherished since ancient times. The white and red flowers that stand out against the vibrant blue add a touch of glamour, and the three-dimensional effect unique to shibori gives a cool and gentle texture. There is slight discoloration on the inside of the collar, but there are no noticeable stains or dirt when worn.
♡ About Shibori Yukata ♡
Shibori yukata are made by hand, one by one. Therefore, we would appreciate your understanding of the following points:
・There may be uneven dyeing, but please understand this as a characteristic of shibori dyeing.
・Occasionally, there may be small holes, which are needle holes created when the fabric is tied.
・Color-fixing processing is believed to have been done, but dark colors such as black and navy may fade or transfer color, so please be careful when washing or wearing.
How to Wash
※ Wash separately as color may fade.
※ Do not soak, as the dye may come off.
・Fold the yukata and put it in a laundry net.
・Wash on the hand wash course of the washing machine, using a neutral detergent for delicate clothes (without bleach), for a short time, and rinse thoroughly.
・Dehydrate loosely for a short time, and
pat it to shape and
hang it to dry in the shade.
Hang it lengthwise.
(No ironing is necessary.
If you iron it strongly, the shibori will stretch and be ruined)
