As expected from a former British colony, the tea culture is authentic. It's the place of origin, after all. It appears to be quite old. I'm not sure how old it is, I apologize. It's from the time when Kolkata was called Calcutta. Now they seem to mainly handle Rolex, but in the 1800s, during the British India era, two Englishmen opened a shop in India that dealt in silver products, watches, and the like. I bet only niche people will know about this! When I acquired it, I was told it was silver-plated. There's a hallmark in the sixth photo, but... I can't read it... It says something like "Deluxe." I've interpreted it as a somewhat luxurious silver plate. I'm looking for someone who understands the characteristics of antiques and vintage items. It will be sent in its original box (photo 1).
