Anaconda Sports is a sports shop founded in 1902 and based in New York. This sneaker was born when Anaconda Sports requested Converse to create original name sneakers in the 1990s. Converse at the time was producing in a factory in Lumberton, North Carolina, and this is one of the last pairs made in America. Based on the Converse All Star, the ankle patch was changed to the original, and the tape line of the outsole was also black, resulting in a monotone finish despite the low-tech design. The rubber heel patch is stamped with MADE IN USA, just like vintage Converse, giving it a unique atmosphere of the time. The star-shaped outsole uses the same sole as the COACH (a type of sneaker by Converse) that was sold in the 1970s. Converse is resistant to deterioration and can be worn for a long time.
