The mark on the part of the foundation where you dispense it in the second image looks like a scratch, but it's a mark left by my nail when I wiped off the dirt. It's not a groove. The color is neutral. I washed the dedicated puff with a cleaner, but if you're concerned, I can remove it before shipping, so please let me know.
