A large antique French Emile Bourgeois plate. Large plates are rare, making this piece highly sought after. The elegant lace and floral branches, resembling double cherry blossoms (or possibly hawthorn or apple blossoms), are simply beautiful. It is said to have been sold at the Grand Dépôt department store (Paris headquarters). ・Condition Few crazing lines, glossy, with cutlery marks and minor scratches from use, but no chips or cracks, and I think the condition is good.
