Trapeze Tailpiece (also known as a "vibrato tailpiece") removed from a 1975 Gibson ES-335. Chrome. Likely compatible with other Gibson ES series guitars, Epiphone Casino, etc. This is from a '75 ES-335, but when I acquired it, it had already been modified with a stop tailpiece, a common modification. The previous owner had removed this original trapeze tailpiece and kept it carefully stored in the case. Everything shown in the photos is included. Screws are not included. The chrome plating is in remarkably good condition for something from half a century ago. Based on the circumstances surrounding the stop tailpiece conversion, the texture shared with other metal parts, and the fact that it was stored for a long time in the pocket of the original hard case, I believe this to be an authentic piece from the time.
