Trapeze Tailpiece (also known as a "vibrato tailpiece") removed from a 1975 Gibson ES-335. Chrome. Likely compatible with other Gibson ES series guitars and Epiphone Casino models. This is from a '75 ES-335, but upon acquisition, it had already been modified with a stop tailpiece, a common modification. The previous owner had removed this original trapeze tailpiece and kept it carefully stored in the case. Everything shown in the photos is included. No screws are present. The chrome plating is in remarkably good condition for being from half a century ago. Based on the circumstantial evidence of the stop tailpiece replacement, the texture shared with other metal parts, and the fact that it was stored for a long time in the pocket of the original hard case, I estimate that this is an authentic piece from the period.
