Rare Big John vintage denim from around the 1960s. TALON semi-automatic zipper. Original chain stitch on the hem. There are no brand markings on the front button or rivets. While you see 70s-80s Big John denim occasionally, 60s Big John is quite rare. Even when you find them, they're mostly small sizes, and larger sizes are truly scarce. Denim from this era is quite rare, as the production numbers for Japanese-made denim were lower than those of American denim from the same period. Especially large sizes, which were produced in even smaller quantities, are hard to come by. As this is vintage denim, there is a sense of wear, with some dirt, fraying, and damage, but no significant damage. This is a full-original product with thick fabric and a strong color, without any noticeable repairs. Unlike vintage denim that tends to tear easily, this is a product that you can wear and break in over time. The sides do not have selvedge. They are finished with a special adhesive to prevent the split seams from twisting.
