For hygiene and safety, it has been hand-washed with a neutral detergent (unscented) and unscented fabric softener. It has not been ironed. I don't think there are any noticeable stains, but it is not new, so I would appreciate it if those who understand recycled kimono could use it. The white fabric has a crepe-like texture, and the embroidery thread is a glossy white without gold or silver threads.
