The wide width allows for a comfortable fit. I believe it is silk. Since it was made from a furisode (long-sleeved kimono), it has some weight. The fabric is crisp. Hand washing is recommended. Although it is used fabric, it has not been worn since it was made, so I have listed it as new. I have carefully checked for stains and dirt, but there may be oversights. I make each item carefully, but there may be slight misalignments or distortions. Please understand this as a handmade item. Shipping will be folded, so please be aware of potential wrinkles.
